The second guest bedroom is across the house and has a queen bed. Both bathrooms have full showers and tubs. The living room has a sleeper sofa with a queen bed and a large television. The original beadboard and shiplap wood ceilings and walls add character and coziness throughout. The open floor layout has a large living room, dining room and kitchen with granite countertops and large island to add seating , while you can still see and enjoy your family and friends while cooking, socializing, or watching TV on the new 50" smart TV with local channels, plus Netflix and Amazon. High-speed wifi internet in every room. The living room has an oversize sleeper sofa with a new cool gel memory foam mattress, and two leather recliners. The dining room has an antique oak table that seats four, and the kitchen island seats three. The front bedroom has an antique double bed with new mattress set. The master bedroom has a beautiful bronze iron bed with pillowtop queen mattress set, and seating area with leather chair. There is a new twin mattress that can be pulled out and used for a child, if extra sleeping space is needed. The kitchen has a fridge with icemaker, dishwasher, and original cast iron sink. Microwave, blender, combo drip/Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and tons of dishes, pots/pans and utensils. The hall bath separates the two bedrooms and has a tub with shower. The ensuite full bath for the master bedroom has a new glass shower stall. The large utility room has a new washer/dryer. There is a front porch with swing, and a huge fenced back yard with a patio with gas grill, picnic table, and glass top table. A separate cement pad has a corn hole game. Beach towels and chairs are provided to take with you on the short walk to the beach and West Side Pier. The pet-friendly cottage has a fenced front and back yard and plenty of off-street parking. A railroad track runs parallel to the beach along the Coast, so you will hear the train tracks across the street from Flamingo Beach Cottage. Locals are used to this and I've done whatever I can to mitigate noise but you will hear the train whistle. Walk to the beach (and bring the dogs with you) and follow the boardwalk for miles, eat at the great restaurants downtown, play at the casinos, visit the new aquarium, golf at nearby courses, and enjoy all that the beautiful Mississippi Coast has to offer. There's a neighborhood park with walking trail, water feature and playground a short walk from the cottage. The Ship Island Ferry is also a few minutes away for a memorable trip to an island with Civil War fort and beautiful island beaches. Fishing charters are also close by. Exciting day trips to the New Orleans French Quarter, Bourbon Street, and plantation museums are less than a two-hour drive from the cottage. Or, head east to Mobile and the battleship and submarine for a fun day trip. Pets are welcome but must be pre-approved by Owner. In order to provide our guests a safe and clean place to stay we are deep cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces ( light switches, doorknobs, cabinets, handles, remotes etc.) after every check out. We have put away unnecessary Decorative Bedding and Throw Pillows in order to better serve you. Our Towels and Linens are white and are treated, disinfected and washed in hot water. The Porch is right off the Kitchen, making it easy to get your food and drinks. Harbor Breeze was rebuilt in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. There was no flood in this area, we only had wind damage. This cottage has a very peaceful, and welcoming effect; you feel at home the minute you walk in. **The Living Room offers a very cozy environment with two couches that provide lots of seating, very nicely decorated, and a flat screen TV. **The formal dining room is very inviting with two large windows that provide lots of light, the dining room table has seating for six or eight. **The large eat-in kitchen Is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances that makes cooking enjoyable. The kitchen table has seating for Six. **Off the kitchen is a laundry room equipped with washer and dryer for your convenience. The three bedrooms are very comfortable and private **Master Bedroom is spacious, with a comfortable King Bed, Flat Screen TV, Master Bath with Shower/Tub combination and Hair Dryer. **Second Bedroom has a Queen Bed and Flat Screen TV. **Third Bedroom has a Queen Bed and XL Bunk Beds. Everything is nicely decorated and we use very good quality bedding.
